HOW WE GOT HERE

My name is Kelly Anne Haggerty, and I am the proud owner of Haggerty Hosting, LLC, bringing over 20 years of experience in the food, restaurant, and hosting industry. My passion lies in serving others and creating environments where everyone feels genuinely welcome and at ease during parties or events. My ultimate goal is to ensure that both hosts and guests can relax and enjoy themselves without a worry.

I’ve had the privilege of working in various restaurants, private homes, and event spaces, where I’ve brought my vision for Haggerty Hosting, LLC, to life. My journey began humbly at Horsham Square Pharmacy, where I served soda and hot dogs for just 25 cents. That early experience sparked my love for hospitality and led me into the restaurant industry, where I honed my skills and deepened my commitment to exceptional service.

Over 12 years ago, I founded Haggerty Hosting, LLC after leaving a restaurant where I worked for eight wonderful years. During my time there, I built relationships with loyal customers who became like family—many of whom I’m still connected with today. After leaving the restaurant, I found it difficult to find another place that felt like home. This inspired me to create Haggerty Hosting, a business focused on bringing warmth, connection, and community to every event hosted in a home.

As Haggerty Hosting has grown, we’ve expanded beyond private homes to include halls, event spaces, breweries, and wedding venues. This growth has allowed us to bring our signature hospitality and seamless event hosting to a wider variety of settings, ensuring every celebration is unforgettable.

I owe much of my hosting skill to my mother, who raised six kids with remarkable ease and organization. She always had snacks waiting for us after school and served hot, delicious dinners—all without a hint of stress. Even now, her ability to host large gatherings effortlessly continues to inspire me. She mastered preparation and handled the chaos beforehand, so when guests arrived, everything appeared seamless. Her example has profoundly shaped my approach to hosting and hospitality.

While my mother shaped my character and values, my strong work ethic comes from my father. Raising six kids alongside my mother, he always held two jobs. Following his example, I’ve held two jobs myself for as long as I can remember. He instilled in me the drive to succeed and the independence that defines who I am today.

Haggerty Hosting, LLC is more than a business—it’s a passion project that I pursue alongside my full-time career of 17 years. Hosting parties fills my extra time with joy and allows me to share my love for creating memorable events. My hope is to one day pass on what I’ve built to one of my 16 nieces or nephews, teaching them the ropes so they can carry on the tradition and take Haggerty Hosting to new heights in the future.
